Our Simply Sold Transaction Co-ordination team (TC Team) will be supporting you every step of the way from contract signing to closing. Our TC team’s goal is to ensure everything runs smoothly and to assist you throughout the sale of your property.
To keep you well-informed, we’d like to outline the next steps in the closing process so you’ll know what to expect.

Next Steps
1. Walk-Through
If we haven’t already completed one, we’ll be reaching out shortly to schedule a walk-through of your property. This allows us to gather important information and coordinate with our construction team and trade partners. We’ll ask for a few dates and times that work best for you to ensure the walk-through is convenient.
2. Utility Information
A member of our team will be reaching out to you to gather some basic information regarding utility services for the home you are selling so we can have an orderly once the property is sold.
3. Title Work
Title work will be ordered through a local title company. Please expect the title company to contact you directly as this is a very important part of the closing process.
The title company will handle the title search and may require your assistance to obtain payoff statements (if applicable). Your cooperation with the title company will help ensure a timely and smooth closing. Once the title is cleared, we’ll be notified and will proceed to prepare the necessary funds for closing.
4. Final Walk-Through & Key Handoff
A final walk-through will be scheduled the day before closing. This is a brief 15–20 minute visit to confirm the property’s condition. This is also the ideal time to hand over your keys. Our team member will collect them during the walk-through to help streamline the final steps.
Closing Day
You’ll be contacted to schedule your closing appointment. All property owners must sign the closing documents, which can be done either in person or via mail – whichever is more convenient for you.
Please be prepared with:
- A valid photo ID (for notarization)
- Any remaining keys to the property (if not already provided)
After the closing is complete, your proceeds will be disbursed either by check or wire transfer – whichever you prefer.
